What this is
About
RugFrameTerrace is a sizing reference for six things people put in a living room and routinely get the size wrong on. It exists because the number on a listing usually answers a different question than the one the buyer has, and because most of the advice available is about taste when the problem is arithmetic.
It is written by somebody who has hung a lot of curtains, measured a lot of floors, and returned enough of both to have opinions about which measurement people skip. The voice here is interested in inches and uninterested in adjectives. Where the catalog does not have the size the arithmetic asks for, the page says so rather than describing the nearest thing more warmly.

What we do not do
- We do not test, measure, weigh or load anything. Every product figure came off a listing.
- We do not price anything and we do not carry ratings.
- We do not compare products on safety, and we do not rank by it.
- We do not give drilling or anchor guidance, because what is behind your wall decides it.
- We do not give legal advice about rental agreements, and we do not make health claims of any kind.
- We do not invent a number for a listing that states none.
Where to start
If you know what you are buying, start at Rules. If you do not have the measurement yet, start at Measure. If the room is an awkward shape, start at Rooms. Our commercial arrangement is set out on Affiliate Disclosure, and corrections are welcome at info@rugframeterrace.com.
